About the Event
As you may know Rutherglen is 900 years old next year and plans are in full swing for a year of celebrations in 2026. One of these will hopefully be a Glasgow Vintage Bus Tour of the area and to ensure this is well planned we propose to run a pilot this year and would love for you to join us testing this local excursion. There will be a pre planned route with commentary and we need your help to evaluate this event.
We are offering some tickets on a first come, first served basis. The tour will take place on Saturday 21st June 2025 at 2pm, departing from Main Street (opposite Town Hall) and likely to last around 90 minutes. A couple of things to bear in mind:-
Access is by a large step on to the bus - may not be suitable for people with mobility issues
