About the Event
We will be continuing our START CYCLING sessions in Rutherglen on the 28th September.
Our Cambuslang session will take place on 21st September. See our separate event post for these sessions.
The Complete Beginner sessions are suitable for adults new to cycling or keen to get back in the saddle after a long break from riding.
These sessions will introduce the basics for safe cycling; essential skills, bike handling/control and an introduction to cycle safety. If you want to learn to ride a bike, improve your cycling or build confidence, these sessions are for you!
We also run an afternoon session introducing riders to the road, so please see our Introduction to On-road Cycling event for more information if this applies to you.
The Beginner cycling session is 1 hour long and will run from 1100 - 1200. You'll need your own bike that is in a roadworthy condition and we would advise you dress for the weather.
Booking is essential and limited slots are available.
Our skilled instructors are Cycling Scotland accredited and will support you to improve your cycle confidence and cycle safely!
