About the Event
Have you ever had a conversation with someone struggling with their mental health, but been too unafraid to say anything for fear of making things worse?
Scottish Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA) training is a four day course that teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges. Gain practical skills, confidence, and knowledge to support others. This 4 day course takes on the 16th, 18th, 23rd, and 30th of September. The training starts at 9:30 AM and finishes at 1 PM each day, with breaks interspersed throughout. Please note that attendance on all days is necessary to gain the certificate.
This course is free for people who live or work in the Cambuslang or Rutherglen areas. There is a fee of £150 for people not living or working in the CamGlen area, payable via debit/credit card on the day.
