Week 3 Digital Photography, how it works - Image formats - Assignment review Week 4 Macro Photography Week 5 Landscape / Cityscape photography Week 6 Student agreed input Week 7 Portraiture - Studio lighting Week 8 An Introduction to Lightroom and Photoshop Week 9 Editing and presentation Week 10 Review and exhibition preparation.

*Exhibition will be hung in The Social of NUMBER 18* *All participants will be invited to a launch party after the event* *Course Leader: Ian Robertson* Ian has been taking pictures for 50 years and has had pictures published in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australasia. After retiring Ian returned to Further Education and studied photography full-time for two years. Ian teaches photography and presents a weekly radio programme on photography, he is a member of the Royal Photographic Society and has been awarded the distinction of Licentiate (LRPS).

Bringing your own camera is helpful but not essential as a smart phone is adequate.
