About the Event
We are proud to facilitate ASIST in conjunction with Lynda Omalley from Care and Connect Training and Jenny Hutton from NHS Lanarkshire.
This is a two day interactive workshop in suicide first aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognise when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. This is a fantastic course for anyone passionate about preventing suicide, looking to gain a better understanding of mental health, or wishing to know what to do in the event of a mental health crisis.
This is a two day course taking place on the 16th and 17th of October 2025 from 9:00 - 17:00. Please note that attendance on both days is necessary to gain the certificate.
