Adult Book Club

We hope you’ll join us on a fun, exciting reading journey with fellow book lovers. This will be a great opportunity to connect with the other

readers as the story unravels, to really get the discussion going. For each book we will include a suggested reading schedule so we can read and share thoughts together – this is purely optional, so don’t worry if you want to read at your own pace!

You’ll then be invited to join us for some fun, lively review discussions. Don’t worry if you can’t join on the date we've chosen – you can still share your thoughts with us at bookclub@healthynhappy.org.uk These will then be collated and aired on CamGlen

Children's Book Club

Is your child a book worm? We have just the thing! At the Healthy n Happy Children's Book Club, young people get a chance to talk about the latest book they've been reading- and get their voice on the radio!

The Children's Book Club is open to young people up to the age of 16.

What?

For our adult book club, we'll be reading a new book every 6-8 weeks. Our book club radio show will air on the Friday after these dates.

We are also holding meetings in-person! Check out our events page to find out more and register to join these sessions.

Our Children's Book Clubs alternate from the adult book club months so we'll be airing these shows on CamGlen Radio on the last Friday of March, May, July, September and November.

When?

We have 2 main streams of book clubs. One aimed at adults and one aimed at our younger readers.

Who?

We'd normally meet in our community venue, Number 18, Farmeloan Road, Rutherglen or other local community venues.

However, at the moment we are holding these catch up discussions virtually on Zoom, or in local parks.
