Volunteer with Transforming Lives
giving back and being connected makes me #healthynhappy
Healthy n Happy involve volunteers in all our work. With our Investing In Volunteers award, we are proud of our volunteering programme and all our wonderful volunteers.
Transforming Lives involves volunteers in a wide range of activities such as:
Telling Your Story Radio Show
Looking Up young volunteers
Handy Folk Task Force
Twiddlemuffs and Dementia Awareness
Transforming Lives also supports all volunteers across the organisation. We provide initial information, induction, graduation and support the learning and development of all our volunteers.
Local residents of Cambuslang and Rutherglen.
Do you have a story to tell, enjoy crafts and gardening, or perhaps knitting and chatting to groups?
Do you enjoy being out in the community, working with all ages, helping challenge the stigma of mental health?
If so, please get in touch!
Volunteers are involved in our activities across the week. Usually you can get involved in one session a week of around 3 hours. However, this can vary depending on your interests, availability and what volunteer opportunities suit your skills and goals.
