Telling Your Story

talking about my story helps others be #healthynhappy

Telling Your Story is an anti-stigma programme that engages with the community using a range of creative and media activities:

Living Library

Volunteers with lived experience share by telling their story to small audiences.

CamGlen Radio

We broadcast weekly on discussing wellbeing topics and playing music on a theme. Find out more here.

Community Engagement

We are out in the community visiting groups, helping them reminisce through Playlist to my Life and participate in a range of community arts  projects.

Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival

We regularly participate in this festival with contributions such as our 'Wish You Were Here' postcard campaign, our 'Pockets of Calm' relaxing videos using smartphones and performances of our stories live in front of an audience, small or large.

Scottish Mental Health First Aid

This course aims to challenge the stigma around mental health issues and build skills to provide initial help to people in distress.  Find out more here.
