The Parent Cafe

The Parent Cafe is a drop in service each Wednesday between 11.30am- 1.30pm here at the Whitlawburn Community Resource Centre (Mull Room)

For £2 per week we provide a relaxed and friendly environment where you can meet other parents of new babies and enjoy light refreshments while getting practical help, support and ideas on enjoying your new baby, our current programme:

15th February - Jo Jingles

22nd February - Weaning

29th February - Disco Tots

7th March - TBC

14th March - Baby First Aid taster

21st March - The National Autistic Society

28th March - Community Police

4th April - Childsmile

11th April - Baby Yoga

The Visit of MP Tom Greatrex

The Parent Cafe was recently visited by local MP Tom Greatrex, who is the father of young twins.

Tom said: “It was a pleasure to be able to visit the parent cafe in Whitlawburn and talk to the new parents there.

“I know how daunting the first few months of parenthood can be, particularly when it is for the first time.
