Cambuslang and Rutherglen saw their first community 5k fun run this year, taking place on 17th May 2009. The sun shone and the participants who numbered almost 400 had a great time. Fun events in the park included stress management, healthy eating tasters, badge making, SLC playteam and 1k toddle race.

The support from the local community, partner and statutory agencies has been terrific and next year's run will hopefully be bigger and better, Please keep checking the website for more details!!!!
